Just a suggestion but A nifty thing to do before you log into the game would be to disable the 3D sound function in the options. I dunno if this is causing your problem but when the function is disabled it helps to boost the in-game stability and reduction of CTD's.

Even so, I think repeat of the caution needs to be said since most people just skip those messages without even reading them whether they know about it or not.

 Higher shot velocities
Dang. Now I wish I hadn't sold that WILD FIRE to Sona because I did so specifically because of the slow shot velocity . Oh well, I guess this is for the better though, as I couldn't really hit anything before with the slower refiring weapons.
Oh, and in the mod options FLHook has a typo (it's FLHool).

Hah, good catch. I'm assuming the download worked, then? It took me a solid hour and a half to upload that RC - my connection is retardedly slow lately, as in < 10KB/sec download speeds. Glad I'm going off to school I guess. lol

Yep, I didn't have any problems. I haven't tested it on the official server yet because it was only updated this morning, but it worked fine on a server I created. That must be why it took forever to send that screenshot to you night after last. I guess we're lucky it worked at all.

Well well. My first update. Now I can start mining instead of being blown to bits by Red Hessians. I don't yet think I've said this to you by the way: this mod is AWESOME. The AI is absolutely groundbreaking. Congrats my friend.

 RC99
Ah well. I hope to have RC99 up later today. With it reaching its 99th RC (one away from 100, the RC number where I promised I would go crazy), I figured it right to go around and add something new into the mix; not much, but I've added a new, optional "Heavy" soundtrack into the game. I just finished editing the tracks so that they loop a little better, and they're pretty much ready for implementation.
Also on the audio side of things will be the new high-end sound system, to complement the high-end special effects. When enabled, all sound can be heard up to a 6K distance; the high-end sound system also forces the engine to handle 32 sound channels, instead of just 24 (1.3x as many). Also, the high-end sound system features enhanced doppler effects. Combined with high-end effects and high-LOD system, this makes the combat amazingly immersive.

I have re-uploaded RC99 with a fix to the sound-panning issue M0tah described. I was playing around with such stuff when developing high-end sounds, and while all seemed to be peachy with using 3D Sound with high-end sound it seemed to mess up normal sound, which I failed to notice. This has been corrected.
