 Anubis?
Anyone can say me the location of the Anubis or another Order ship? It seems that The Order faction had been removed from the mod.

 Re: Anubis?
They are in the mod, they were renamed to Unlawful Freelancers.Like they did with the LSF (was this one? os it was the LPI?) to Lawful Freelancers.
btw, Order ships are rares, you can only get them with the PSU.
The Osiris PSU Anubis PSU

 Re: Anubis?
Renamed to Unlawful? As I remember from finishing the game, they were helping everyone.

 Re: Anubis?
Nope. The Order's biggest enemy after Nomads are LSF and Liberty Police

 Re: Anubis?
When you start the game, but not when you finished it (at the end, they are the best friend of all houses police and military)

 Re: Anubis?
Nope, theire not. Everyone still thinks theyre bad guys.
Thats because theyd like to stay alert and monitor the houses and their police-forces from the outside.

 Re: Anubis?
they wernt "lawful", but the only reason they were attacking military targets was because they were infected. i believe they would stay mostly un-hostile without nomads. IMO

 Re: Anubis?
lol, none of this is true - if you want to get really technical, fc_or_grp is actually used for Storage Anti-PvP Token faction (always neutral, hidden from faction list), and li_lsf_grp is actually used for n00b Anti-PvP Token faction (always friendly, hidden from faction list). Not that it really matters in-game, it's just where the code went - Lawful FLs (gd_lfl_grp) and Unlawful FLs (fc_pfl_grp) are both new factions in code. :P (although, it's fair to point out that Lawful / Unlawful FLs do have both the Anubis and Osiris in their ship rotation, albeit rarely, and any NPC that pilots a rare ship uses Order equipment)
I will probably re-implement the Order as a real NPC faction at some point, however I'm a little unsure of how exactly to do so - do I make them attack pirates? Police? Only Nomads? (kinda useless as NPCs then)

 Re: Anubis?
I think you should make them lawful (allied with police and ennemy with pirate) and they scan for things (if you kept the scan function for npc)

 Re: Anubis?
Sona was right - dont mistake him on the infected part though: The militaries were infected, not the order-fighters. If they are meant to make any appearences in the universe - either have them neutral to everyone except nomads, or make them approach random targets (if possible)
By default the order should be seeking to stay low and unseen. As I said - after the storyline they returned to monitoring officials like policeofficers, militaries and politians.
How about placing the osiris in some kind of hidden location with nomadfighters patrolling the area. Some Anubis-spawns around the osiris and you got yourself a nice hidden hideout for the order.
Small shipyard nearby might serve as a fallback-point if youre inteding to make that spot some kind of a training-ground for players against the nomads.

 Re: Anubis?
If I re-integrated the Order as an NPC faction, they would have a very rare spawn chance, so as to keep a low profile among other factions. I'd also probably set them up as only hostile with Nomads, with the rest of faction relations set up as shoot-your-enemies code, so when they did appear they'd always help you out (unless you were a nomad). This way, they'd be actually useful, past killing Nomads.

 Re: Anubis?
Thats actually a good idea. If you set the spawn chance similarly low as the nomad npcs around systems, it would be good enough.... plus Toledo should no longer be a nomad planet (nomad ships should be sold at the lair or buoys)

 Re: Anubis?
what about my Idea placing a static battleship somewhere in nomadspace for some constant dogfighting-action? Would you guys like that? Would you not?
Might as well be some other faction than the order - plus - could do well as some kind of training-ground for newbies.

 Re: Anubis?
Although its off topic, i do think that some systems, maybe off of alaska and maybe in normal space, should have static fleets of battleships, cruisers, and gunboats with fighter spawns. These could be for any faction, not just the order.
